On November 10, 2003, Roundabout held its third annual Arts-in-Education benefit, Just Dance, at Noche, the new Latin-themed restaurant in Times Square. Guests danced the night away to the Latin sounds of Aris Martinez and his 12-piece orchestra, enjoyed the exclusive silent auction with everything from weekend getaways to flying trapeze lessons to a walk-on-role on a FRASIER episode and even learned a few new moves themselves thanks to professional salsa instructors.
The guest list was filled with Roundabout artists, past and present including Jane Krakowski, Cynthia Nixon, Bill Irwin, Swoosie Kurtz, Desmond Richardson, Boyd Gaines, Sara Gettelfinger and Kyle MacLachlan. Co-chaired by long-time supporters Beth Chapin, Janet Christensen, Peter Davenport and Donna Slade, the event was a success raising over $100,000 for Roundabout's vital education programs which enrich the lives of over 5,000 public school students annually.
