At our Spring Gala on April 7, 2008, over 500 Board members, donors, patrons and guests of Roundabout celebrated and raised money with a unique evening called Feeling Groovy: Pop Songs of the 60s.
Roundabout Theatre Company opened its doors in 1965, a time that also marked the dawning of a brand-new age. While Roundabout redefined classic plays on stage, pop music and fashion were being redefined as a seismic shift changed the American cultural landscape forever. To celebrate this extraordinary decade, Tony Award® winner Kathleen Marshall created a one-night-only musical celebration featuring Broadway's hottest stars such as Kelli O'Hara, Alan Cumming, Rosie Perez and Brian D'Arcy James singing the unforgettable music of the 1960s. | ||||||||||||
